India's double Olympic medallist Manu Bhaker came up with a befitting response to the trolls over their criticism of her for wearing her medals to every promotional event she went to. New Delhi: Paris Olympics double medallist Manu Bhaker recently hit back at trolls with a befitting response on social media after being continuously targeted for ‘showing off’ her medals at promotional events. Bhaker created history at the Paris Olympics by winning a bronze medal apiece in the women’s 10m air pistol event and the 10m mixed team air pistol event.

The shooter became the first athlete post-Independence to win two Olympic medals for India at the same edition of the Games. However, despite her historic feat Bhaker was criticised by many for flaunting her two Olympic bronze medals at promotional events back home. The 22-year-old took to X to slam the trolls with a scathing post.

“The two bronze medals I won at the Paris 2024 Olympics belong to India. Whenever I am invited for any event and asked to show these medals, I do it with pride. This is my way of sharing my beautiful journey,” Bhaker wrote in a tweet.
