Manchester Airport has issued a message for passengers flying with Egyptair, SunExpress and Royal Jordanian this week. These airlines will be moved to the new-look Terminal 2 this week as the airport’s £1.3billion transformation nears completion.
Egyptair and SunExpress are moving to Terminal 2 today, Tuesday November 12. Royal Jordanian will follow tomorrow, on Wednesday November 13. Affected passengers are advised to now check-in for their flights at Terminal 2.
The airport has urged travellers to make any amendments to lounge and parking bookings so that they don’t get caught out when they go on holiday. More details can be found on the airport’s website. The changes are part of the overhaul of Terminal 2 , which is set to become the “heartbeat of the airport”. Under the transformation plans, Terminal 1 will close while the number of airlines operating from Terminal 3 will be reduced. The first half of the new Terminal 2 opened in 2021, while the second half is on track to open next year.
