Manchester Airport has issued a fresh alert for passengers travelling in the coming weeks as several airlines move from Terminals 1 and 3 to the new-look Terminal 2. The airport has urged travellers to make any amendments to lounge and parking bookings so that they don’t get caught out when they go on holiday . So far a total of 11 airlines which are moving have been announced, starting on October 27 until November 13.
The changes come as the airport undergoes a £1.3billion transformation resulting in a complete overhaul of Terminal 2. As part of the plans, Terminal 1 will close while the number of airlines operating from Terminal 3.
The aim is to make the new-look Terminal 2 “the heartbeat of the airport”. With the transformation set to be completed in 2025, the airport has announced a number of airlines which are already moving over.
