A man enjoyed a weekend in London - living it up without spending a penny. George Redfern, a 21-year-old adventurer from the Wirral, Merseyside, decided to taste life in London without dipping into his wallet. Impressively, he managed to enjoy two full days in the British capital completely cost-free, beginning his journey on August 3.

Upon landing at Euston Station at 9.03am, George headed straight to the Premier Inn Westminster Abbey Hotel, where he cleverly secured a complimentary coffee and strategised his day foreplan. His cheeky charm didn't end there he snagged gratis meals at the upmarket The Dilly hotel and even managed a snooze in the lobby of The Generator Hostel in Shepherd's Bush, London.

The second day saw him masterfully infiltrating a 4-star hotel spa for a splash in the pool and a serene sit in the sauna. Trekking across London, George racked up an impressive 50,000 steps within 48 hours as spending on public transport was off-limits for the audacious content creator. Talking about his cost-nullifying escapade in the metropolis, George said: "It's the most difficult thing I have ever done — it's the not knowing what is going to happen to next.

" In preparation for his monetary-restriction experiment, he put thought into his appearance: "Before starting the challenge, I thought it would be best to dress smartly, so people had a certain perception of me."
