Patna: A 50-year-old man with criminal antecedents was injured after bike-borne assailants fired indiscriminately at him at Araap village under Bikram police station of Patna on Thursday morning. Police said injured Mithilesh Singh was wanted in two criminal cases. Umeshwar Choudhary, subdivisional police officer of Bikram, said the incident took place around 7.
30am. “The victim was at a grocery store adjacent to his house in Araap village, when three miscreants came on a motorbike and opened fire. They fired five-six rounds at Singh and fled,” he said, adding a complaint was lodged by Singh’s brother Raj Kumar.
