BETHLEHEM TWP., Pa. -- A man who was convicted for his role in a violent armed home invasion in Bethlehem Township, Northampton County has learned his sentence.
Anthony Santiago was sentenced to 20 to 40 years in prison, according to a news release from the Northampton County District Attorney's Office. The jury convicted Santiago after a three-day trial, finding him guilty of charges including burglary, three counts of robbery, conspiracy, and simple assault, the DA's office said. At the sentencing Wednesday, Judge John M.
Morganelli referred to Santiago as the "architect" of the home invasion, and said he was a danger to the community. The home invasion happened April 20, 2023 in the 2000 block of Willow Park Road in Bethlehem Township. At the time, three people were in the home.
Three other people with arrested for their involvement in the home invasion. They are Millito Delgado, 45, Michael Matas, 29, and Francis Ferrando, 23, the DA's office previously said. Two of the man were shot by one occupant of the house, the DA's office said.
