Police have issued advice for vehicle owners to prevent thefts, including keeping keys and ignition fobs out of sight and reach, and never leaving them inside an unattended vehicle. Installing a tracker on the car and considering CCTV or doorbell cameras covering the parking area can also help deter thieves, they added.
