Vadodara: A nurse working at a public health centre (PHC) in Chhota Udepur was allegedly sexually harassed by a man staying in the vicinity. She has filed a complaint of sexual harassment at Karali police station. The incident occurred on Tuesday evening when the 34-year-old woman was with her two-and-a-half-year-old son at the PHC at Karali.

She tried to feed him a cold drink when some of it spilled on her dress. So the woman went to the washroom to wash off the stain from her dress. When she was on her way back, the accused, identified as Jagdish Rathwa, suddenly came running towards her.

She asked him what was wrong with him, but he suddenly hugged her and made obscene demands from her. She screamed for help, and some people staying near the PHC rushed to the spot. The woman said in her complaint that Rathwa’s father also came there, thrashed him with a stick, and took him away.
