Season one riveted viewers way back in 2019 on BBC One, but, sadly, the second season had trouble getting off the ground.

Only six episodes were produced thanks to the Covid-19 pandemic, airing in February 2021. After more than three years, British detective Miranda Blake (played by Elen) and her German partner Max Winter (Julian) are finally back for more cases and plenty of banter along the way. They're now with a new home on Amazon Prime Video .

The pair spoke exclusively to Express.co.uk about how it felt to return to the sun-drenched investigation show after such a lengthy hiatus.
