Malik Nabers was having an excellent game for himself. Once again, the New York Giants rookie was the best receiver for the team. Unfortunately, Nabers' night ended in unfortunate fashion.

With the Giants facing 4th-and-6 down by five, Daniel Jones fired a pass to Nabers on the sideline. With Trevon Diggs breathing on his neck, Nabers attempted a toe-tap catch but dropped the ball. The Giants WR fell to the ground hard and lay still for a few scary moments before being helped up.

Nabers was eventually diagnosed with a concussion after the game. Fans are obviously worried about the Giants star, and their fears were not allayed after this interaction with Brian Burns, per Pat Leonard. Brian Burns yells across the #Giants ’ locker room to Malik Nabers: “Hey, Leek.

You good? You straight?” Nabers shakes his head no. Nabers is in the concussion protocol now, so he can not talk to media after tonight’s game Here's the video of the interaction from Burns' perspective, via Charlotte Carroll. com/6Ab2RXVpwv Of course, fans want Nabers to be healthy above all else. Let Leek recover. Amazing talent and no need to force a return.

Sure NYG needs him, but put his health first. Some are also hopeful that Nabers' response was more about his dropped pass and not his concuss.
