A THEME park is about to make a huge splash with a brand-new water attraction. Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Arlington in Texas will launch its largest expansion in park history with a new water play structure, complete with slides and a play zone. The addition is set to open to the public in 2025, ahead of its 30th anniversary.

The expansion will include Splash Island, a 58,000-square-foot zone, and a 50-foot structure with over 110 water features, including seven family-friendly water slides. A 1,000-gallon tipping water bucket will soak fun-lovers below as riders glide down the slides. The kid-friendly slide area, with a mini-tornado slide and a mini-wave slide, will amp up the splash experience with names like "Shark Attack" and "Cowabunga.

On top of the kiddie zone, Hurricane Harbor will upgrade its amenities, including new family cabanas, oversized umbrellas, and refreshed bathrooms. The park's main restaurant will also be renovated to improve guests' dining experience.
