Pune: Chief minister Eknath Shinde , on his return from the oath-taking ceremony of Haryana chief minister Nayab Singh Saini, claimed that Mahayuti will replicate a Haryana-like result in Maharashtra. The ceremony was followed by a council meeting of NDA chief ministers with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Chandigarh. Shinde arrived in Pune on Thursday night before heading to his native village in Satara district.

Interacting with mediapersons at Pune Airport, Shinde said the five-hour meeting discussed several projects in the states where NDA allies have formed govt. He added, "The Haryana result has showed that people prefer a govt which delivers on its promises. The people of Maharashtra stand by us, and I am confident that Mahayuti will replicate the Haryana result in the state.

" While the Mahayuti had a below-par performance in the Lok Sabha poll earlier this year, its members now say they will bounce back in the assembly poll. "The MVA govt stalled all projects and did not take any decisions. Our govt not only restarted all the projects, we also introduced several schemes for public welfare.

We are confident that Mahayuti will once again form govt with a thumping majority," Shinde said. The chief minister claimed that there is no dispute in the Mahayuti over the seat-sharing formula. "Talks are going on smoothly, and the seats will be declared soon.

These issues are not within Mahayuti but in MVA," he added..
