Pune: Shiv Sena (UBT) leader and Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Raut said on Friday that the grand alliance of Mahayuti will not remain intact after Nov 23 as Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) will form govt in the state. "Eknath Shinde will not continue as chief minister under any circumstances after the declaration of results on Nov 23. Firstly, he will not have the majority, and Shinde will not even be made the leader of the opposition.

Even the future of Devendra Fadnavis appears to be dark. Our MVA govt is going to be formed," Raut told reporters after a meeting with MVA leaders at the office of Chandrakant Mokate, the Sena's (UBT) candidate for Kothrud assembly constituency. He also accused Fadnavis and Shinde of working as agents of Gujarat.

Later, speaking at a rally in Shivajinagar, Raut said that the Maharashtra polls will decide the fate of Union govt. "If MVA gains power, a change of guard will happen at the Centre in six months," he said. The Shiv Sena (UBT) leader said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's rally on Thursday at Mumbai's Shivaji Park had "hardly any crowd" as people of Maharashtra were tired of listening to PM's speeches.

"Nearly 1.5 lakh chairs were kept. But not even 5,000 people were there at the rally.

The citizens of Maharashtra have expressed discontent against BJP leaders. They have reduced the importance of Mumbai. Many projects were taken away from the state, the ruling party should have resigned in protest," he said.

He also expressed concern over increa.
