Voters can continue to register their names till ten days before the last date of nomination for assembly elections, so the registrations are bound to rise,” he said.
A significant increase in registration of youth voters was also observed in the state among 18-19 and 20-29 age groups, with about 3.67 lakh rise in the former age group, and 7.55 lakh in the latter.
