Mahalia returns with new single ‘Pick Up The Pace’. The singer is making power moves, asserting her worth with every drop. Firmly in her self-described “Luvergirl” era, Mahalia writes a new page with her latest single.

Out now, ‘Pick Up The Pace’ adds some spice to the Autumn season, with Mahalia’s sultry vocal oozing sensuality. It’s a collaboration with Jamaican artist Bayka, and the two seem to push one another to a different space in their craft. In a note to fans, Mahalia calls Bayka’s voice “one of the maddest things I’ve ever heard,” before adding: “I wanted to celebrate artists like Bayka—these incredible Jamaican voices—and give the UK a moment to reconnect with the dancehall and reggae that helped shape our sound.
