Monday, August 12, 2024 The Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board (MPTB) recently hosted a successful roadshow in Ahmedabad, aimed at promoting the state’s rich tourism offerings and fostering collaboration with local industry stakeholders. Held on August 10, 2024, at the Courtyard by Marriott, the event saw enthusiastic participation from key figures in both Madhya Pradesh’s and Ahmedabad’s tourism sectors, leading to the formation of promising partnerships that are set to enhance tourism prospects in the region. The roadshow featured active involvement from Madhya Pradesh’s travel agents, tour operators, and hoteliers, who engaged with their counterparts in Ahmedabad to establish strong networks and collaborations.

These efforts are expected to boost tourism not only in Madhya Pradesh but also in Gujarat, facilitating greater travel exchanges between the two states. Sheo Shekhar Shukla (IAS), Principal Secretary of the Tourism and Culture Department and Managing Director of the MP Tourism Board, expressed satisfaction with the outcome of the roadshow. He emphasized the importance of industry collaboration, noting that the partnerships formed during the event would significantly benefit both Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat’s tourism sectors.

“The roadshow deepened the understanding of MP’s tourism potential among Ahmedabad’s residents and built strong connections between the two regions, encouraging travelers to explore the beauty and diversity of Madhya Pradesh,” Shukla.
