The home’s talented team of chef’s were asked to create a special batch of custom cakes for the event, which proved to be a hit with attendees.
Organized as part of World Alzheimer’s Month , which runs through September 2024, all proceeds from the event will go towards Dementia UK’s vital work. Portsdown View, which has been an active campaigner on this issue since it opened its doors last year, hopes this will help promote greater awareness and support for those living with dementia; particularly for older people who may lack the resources or support they need.
