A luxury makeup and skincare brand is planning to open a shop in a large empty unit. Charlotte Tilbury, a celebrity makeup artist who has created looks for brands like Tom Ford and Stella McCartney, also has her own beauty brand. The company is planning to open a store in Brighton's East Street.
The unit was home to fashion shops Sandro and Maje which closed in January leaving a large space on the corner near the taxi rank empty. In new plans, submitted by Push Design, Charlotte Tilbury wants to upgrade the black and white shopfronts. A spokesman for Push Design said: "The current store, while a heritage asset and with some notable architectural details, is in a poor condition with cracked glazing, decaying sills, stall risers and fascia.
The project is a great opportunity to refurbish the storefront and provide a high quality location for the Charlotte Tilbury brand in Brighton .
