Augsburg, Siegburg/Bonn, Wolfsburg, and Essen are the latest additions, effectively doubling the number of cities connected by rail compared to those served by Lufthansa flights.

Enhanced Sprinter services also ensure quicker journeys between major cities. The collaboration also includes an international route from Munich Central Station to Zurich Airport, with an optional stop in Bregenz, Austria, perfectly complementing the network to SWISS hub airports. The frequency of these services has also risen, with over 240 daily ICE trains bearing a Lufthansa flight number.

For more than two decades, Lufthansa and DB have been enriching their joint services, allowing travelers to seamlessly book .
