• Mark Williams is a 51-year-old chef, from near Northwich in Cheshire. Mark Williams on the beach at Church Bay Anglesey. When and why did you take up photography? I've taken pictures for many years whilst out and about but it became apparent a couple of years ago I was getting quite good at it, so decided to take it more seriously.

I just love the outdoors in general, so anything to do with nature - landscape and seascape mountains lakes and rivers, also have a love for architecture and urban photography too. Wouldn't say I had a particular favourite place but the majority of my free time is spent in North Wales somewhere, so would say it's my biggest passion. The Charles Bridge in Prague. Predominantly my iPhone 14 Pro as is easy to carry around but when the big camera comes out I have a Nikon D3500 with either an 18-140mm or a 50mm lens and tripod.
