A star opened up about the "awful" messages he received from trolls after leaving the show. Caine Bacon, 28, from Norfolk, became the only successful Casa Amor bombshell to enter the main Love Island USA villa this year. However, upon leaving the show he has opened up about fan interaction.

On his account, Caine opened up about some of the hateful messages he was receiving and even told fans about people wishing his plane would crash on the way back to the UK from Fiji, which was where the show was filmed. Speaking exclusively to the Daily Star, Caine said: "I’m feeling great now, a lot less stressed. The initial hate was a bit much but I’ve managed to turn them into mostly positive comments; now people are seeing my personality come through on TikTok.

"Overall I’m happy I went on the show and grateful for the experience I was scouted through one of my TikTok lives by a casting member, and it went from there. "Fan reaction started off awful, I can’t help what was shown on the show, however, it’s now brilliant and I love all my wonderful followers." The TV star managed to couple up with Liv Walker, who brought him back into the main villa, but has since admitted there was no romantic connection between the pair.

He told his fans that it was part of his "gameplan" and he "used" Liv as his way in. Talking to the Daily Star about his, Caine added: "I didn’t even talk to her [Liv] for the first couple days, but yes I did think that was the best chance to get into the v.
