LOVE Island fans have worked out why Grace Jackson and Reuben Collins were doomed from the beginning. The Sun revealed yesterday that the model, 25, and footballer, who were dumped from the villa ahead of the final, struggled to make it work in the real world thanks to their conflicting, busy schedules. But fans aren't surprised that their romance has ended and said they spotted signs that they were incompatible from day one.
Some have suggested that Grace was never been into Reuben in the first place. One wrote: "This is one relationship we could see NOT working out. Reuben is just not her type.
" This unsurprised fan posted: "No way. Cant believe it. Ohh, wait, i can, he was jarring.
" A third said: "Guess they didn’t prove the public wrong." A fourth added: "OMG you don’t say. She just wants fame and would take joey back in a heartbeat.
" The pair decided to call it quits as they struggle with the distance. A source close to the couple said: “ Grace and Reuben have come to the mutual decision a romantic relationship isn’t right for either of them at this time. “Grace wishes Reuben all the best and vice versa.
They will remain friends and have no bad feelings towards each other.” An insider added: “They have both been very busy since leaving the villa and the long distance has been difficult for both of them.” Grace is based in Manchester, while Reuben lives in London.
