Lorraine Kelly has shared the heartwarming moment her granddaughter visited Scotland for the first time and witnessed a Dundee United victory. The 64-year-old Glasgow-born star, who recently celebrated four decades on our screens, enjoyed a special weekend with her family at the luxurious Cromlix Hotel in Dunblane, including a trip to see her beloved Dundee United play - a first for baby Billie. Lorraine was accompanied by her daughter Rosie, Rosie's partner Steve, and Billie, who was born earlier this year.

The family described their getaway as "the dreamiest weekend away", which was made even better by Dundee United's impressive 3-0 win over Ross County, reports . Sharing the experience on Instagram, the TV veteran wrote: "Baby Billie's first time in Scotland, we stayed at fabulous Cromlix Hotel, and she was so happy there she slept through the night for the first time." "Such a lovely place to stay, so comfortable and relaxing.

Incredible food and hospitality. Thanks to all the team for looking after us. Billie is wearing her Dundee United babygro because she went to her first game – the team obviously wanted to impress her as we won three-nil.

" Touching photos show the beautiful mother-and-daughter pair outside the Cromlix with baby Billie, while another image captures the family donning Dundee United scarves for the match. Rosie revealed that she had been going through a difficult period recently, so it seems the weekend break was a much-needed respite for the new mum .
