Loose Women panel send their support to Brenda Edwards Loose Women stars have flocked to support Brenda Edwards as she shared an emotional post in memory of her late son, Jamal. The 55-year old presenter marked her son's birthday on Instagram with a sweet video montage. Jamal died in February 2022 from a heart attack after taking cocaine and drinking alcohol, according to a coroner.

The music entrepreneur helped launch careers of singer Ed Sheeran and rapper Skepta. At the time, Brenda took time away from the panel to be with her family and later returned to Loose Women two months after Jamal's death. Marking her son's birthday, she posted: "I know Jamal is celebrating his Birthday today up above and you can guarantee I will be doing the same.

" The video shows pictures and videos of Jamal during his childhood and she also wrote the text: "34 years ago you brought so much joy and sunshine into my life."
