ITV is gearing up to bring the Edinburgh Fringe Festival right into your living room next month, featuring some of the funniest acts on stage. The network has just revealed that Loose Women's Judi Love will take the helm as host for four side-splitting specials set to broadcast in August. Dubbed ITVX Presents: LIVE COMEDY from the Edinburgh Fringe, the comedy extravaganza will be streamed live, ensuring viewers won't miss a beat of the action.

Thanks to NextUp's curation, each special promises a fresh roster of comedians performing live from the epicentre of the Fringe. Audiences can look forward to an hour packed with top-notch humour and emerging comedic talent every night, reports the Mirror . Judi expressed her excitement about the project, saying: "If you can't make it in person to the Edinburgh Fringe do not worry as we're bringing it straight into your homes.

" She added, "You'll be able to watch stand-up comedy, live from Edinburgh from your sofa! I'm truly excited to be hosting these four nights and sharing this experience with all these talented acts." While the festival kicks off on August 2, the breakthrough act slots remain open, to be filled once the Fringe festivities begin. After their initial airing, the specials will be available for a 30-day catch-up period on ITVX.
