There are long traffic delays near the village of Falfield following a crash this afternoon (Friday, August 30). According to traffic monitoring site Inrix, the A38 is blocked in both directions. We will bring you all of the latest updates from the crash in the live blog below.
The crash took place between The Huntsman pub and Brinkmarsh Lane shortly before 3.40pm. There is now heavy traffic in the area and motorists should expect delays.
