The singer said she was 'extremely worried' and launched a plea on social media after 13-year-old Faith went missing in High Wycombe on Monday. In a story published on Instagram the 32-year-old said Faith had been carrying a Jordan backpack and had no phone or money on her at the time of her disappearance.

The post also contained two photos of her niece, one showing her wearing glasses with a white top, with a red streak in her black hair. The other showed the child walking down a pavement while wearing a black top, black leggings and holding a black rucksack. Less than 24 hours later, the pop star sent out another story in which she shared another appeal to find the teenager, which had originally been posted by the Black Project, an arts and culture group that has previously partnered with Ms Pinnock's charity The Black Fund.
