The Aston Martin Valkyrie beats all odds to bring us a V12 engine car in this decade and Aston Martin has teased the Le Mans version being tested. While most manufacturers have been moving away from larger naturally aspirated V12 engines in order to reduce their emissions and go to smaller turbo charged alternatives or electrification, Aston Martin has kept the spirit of the V12 alive with the Valkyrie. The Cosworth engine is a masterpiece of engineering and the AMR-LMH version is the unrestricted version of the road going race car.

Listen to the soulful wail of the beautiful British hypercar in a new video teased by Aston Martin. The LMH has ditched the hybrid system and will only have the V12 powerplant as its sole powerhouse while being a little detuned as well to meet the FIA standards for the hypercar class in Le Mans. The AMR-LMH will run in the 2025 IMSA Weathertech championship and World Endurance championship.

The Aston will be the only car running a V12 in its class, most other notable hypercar class cars will feature either a V6 or V8 engine. The mighty V12 lives on in the motorsport industry and we are glad that these vehicles are still viable in todays day and age. It also gets an extensive aero package over the road going car, the Valkyrie was already a crazy thing in terms of aerodynamics but there are enhancements to make it an absolute track monster.

Currently the car is in testing phase and in heavy camouflage as well so we are yet to see it in all its glory.
