Lisa Faulkner has revealed the tell-tale sign where her age gap relationship with MasterChef judge John Torode really shows. The happy couple first met on the popular celebrity edition MasterChef back in 2010. Lisa, 52, and John, 59, struck up a friendship on the spin-off show but never planned to fall in love.

However, BBC fans immediately spotted their on-screen chemistry before she was crowned the winner of series five after serving up a number of spectacular dishes to the judges. Fast forward to 2019, they ended up tying the knot in an intimate ceremony surrounded by close family and friends. Now, the blonde bombshell has opened up about one thing that drives her crazy about her loving husband that truly displays their generational gap.

She confesses one pet peeve that gets under her skin is John's persistent singing of his favourite 1970s hits. In a recent interview with The Times, Lisa admitted: "I can't bear it when John sings along to Supertramp. That's where our seven-year age gap really shows.

” Lisa took a brutal swipe at her other half and claimed: “Give a Little Bit by Supertramp and Mr Blue Sky by ELO - I just can't do it, I'm sorry." John chuckled that Lisa has jokingly dubbed him "the Simon Cowell of the kitchen", although he fervently denies this and claims it is not true. Before Lisa struck up their steamy romance, John was married to a woman named Jessica back in 2000.

They share five children between them and John is a proud father to Jonah, 19, and Lul.
