Vadodara: The Halol rural police on Sunday seized a huge stock of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) and arrested three men. The police said that they had received information that liquor was being offloaded in Halol’s Maswad GIDC, following which they reached the spot. The police said that the accused were offloading the stock.

While one of them was arrested on the spot, the other two tried to escape but were chased down by the cops. The police said that they seized nearly 900 boxes of IMFL and the stock was brought to Halol from Goa. The accused were identified as Kamlesh Pudiya, Rakesh Baguda and Anandram Chakad, all residents of Rajasthan.

They told the police that they had just come to deliver the stock and they had no idea about the owner of the godown and who was to receive the stock.
