Film Track , a 3-day showcase of film screenings and talks takes place in Limerick on 23-25 August. Highlights of the weekend include, screening of the locally-shot sci-fi thriller Woken, starring the electrifying duo Erin Kellyman and Maxine Peake, followed by a deep dive into cinematic craft with Tadhg O’Sullivan in an In Conversation event . The One-Shot Filmmaking competition is where 10 teams will be racing against the clock to create their own one-take wonders on the city streets.

All of this unfolds alongside Feile Na Greine, the city’s cutting-edge festival of emerging and experimental sounds, turning Limerick into a vibrant epicenter where film and music collide. Film Track is run by Film in Limerick through Innovate Limerick, with WIRED FM, and in partnership with Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board, the National talent Academies, and Belltable Limerick. Ryan, Regional Film Manager at Film in Limerick said: “It’s a summer film experience with a difference, welcoming all aspiring and experienced filmmakers and musicians to the city for 3-days of film and music fun.
