Life after prison is no picnic. Just ask Britney and Kerok. In the new season of WE tv’s Life After Lockup (premiering October 5), the couple has big plans to move from Virginia to Texas.
But a surprise phone call delivers some bad news that could upend their future together. The pair met while they were both incarcerated in the same facility.
At the time, Kerok, a transgender man, was transitioning. They continued their relationship after they both were released from prison. Even though their loved ones didn’t always understand their choices, they persevered in their dream of building a life together, though it hasn’t always been easy.
