The Lidl x Nikolas Bentel accessory, which was modelled by Jordan Stephens of Rizzle Kicks and released to coincide with London Fashion Week, has been listed for up to 40 times its original price on resale sites after it initially went on sale this weekend. Patisserie Lidl, which is an homage to the budget supermarket chain's famed and beloved bakery, sold out within hours after it went on sale for £50 at Lidl's pop-up store in Dean Street, Soho, London last Friday and Saturday.

Shoppers also had the chance to get their hands on the real deal - a Lidl croissant, for 59p at the pop-up. All proceeds from the bag were donated to the NSPCC. However, it seems some people who were lucky enough to get their hands on a croissant bag have cashed in on the opportunity, as listings have appeared on eBay selling the accessory for hugely inflated prices of up to £1,999.

It's unclear if these proceeds will also be donated to charity. Lidl's now infamous croissant bag, designed in colla.
