Monrovia – BeeVonne, with support from title sponsor LonestarCell MTN, successfully hosted the inaugural Creators X Summit, a cross-border dialogue on music and content creation named “LonestarCell MTN Creators X Summit.” By: Francis G. Boayue Held on August 8, 2024, at A’ La Lagune Resort, the summit aimed to unite creatives, ignite their passions, and inspire them to pursue their craft.
The event was a first-of-its-kind in Liberia bringing together leading figures from Nigeria and Liberia, focusing on the rapidly expanding industries of music and content creation. Amongst the notable guests were Nigerian director, videographer, and content creator Paul Saap, alongside Excel Joab, a prominent figure in Nigeria’s pop culture known for his talent-spotting and artist-nurturing prowess. Liberia’s creative scene was represented by veteran singer Zack Roberts of the legendary Zack and Geebah Band, who shared his wealth of experience and insights into the opportunities and challenges faced by creatives in Liberia and across Africa.
