READ MORE: The Masterlist – every song Oasis ever recorded ranked in order of greatness As reported by The Times , rumours have been swirling around that next summer the Gallagher brothers will reunite as Oasis for the first time since their final performance as a band at V Festival in Stafford back in 2009. The publication also alleged that the Britpop icons may be set to take over their hometown of Manchester, as well as London in the summer of 2025, with a string of gigs allegedly planned at the likes of Heaton Park and Wembley Stadium.

A rumour alleges that Wembley has been booked for a whopping 10 nights for the ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’ hitmakers. If true, it would mean that they would break the record for most gigs at the venue which currently belongs to Taylor Swift with her eight performances at the stadium. Oasis are also rumoured to be potential headliners for next year’s edition of Glastonbury Festival .
