Lukie was born on December 28, 1963, in Sussex, NJ, to Barbara (Washer) Klim and the late Lewis Klim Sr. His family moved to Randall, NY when he was seven years old, and he graduated from Fonda Fultonville Central School District. After school, Lukie worked on his family's dairy farm, until he began his career with Liberty ARC.

He worked for Liberty for 27 years and was awarded employee of the year. He met his wife Lisa (Bouton) Klim in High School, and they were married on August 11, 1984. They shared over 40 beautiful years together full of love and laughter before his passing.

Lukie enjoyed woodworking and anything hands-on that he could build or fix. More than anything, he loved fishing, and it was his greatest passion throughout his life. The family would like to give a special thank you to Chad Hartwig for helping Lukie continue his love of fishing this summer.

He was predeceased by his father Lewis Klim Sr. earlier this year on May 23, 2024. Lukie is survived by his loving wife Lisa Klim; Mother Barbara Klim; son David (Alison Daly) Klim; daughter Brandi (Stephen) Prall; siblings Suzanne (Dave) Groff, Barbara (Jim) Rodecker, and Scott (Kristy) Klim; grandchildren Andalusia Klim, Parker and Paige Daly Klim, and Emmaline Prall; as well as several nieces and nephews who were very special to him.

Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, August 31, 2024, from 10am to 12pm at Betz, Rossi, Bellinger & Stewart Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam, NY 120.
