Lions outclass Blues Boy oh boy! The mouth-watering and much-anticipated clash between Extra Supermarket Labasa and Flick Hygiene Lautoka lived up to expectations. The Babasiga Lions, who lost to Lautoka at home in the Digicel Fiji Fact semi-final, were determined to take revenge, and they did, in emphatic and heroic style! Once again, veteran striker Christopher Wasasala proved to be the hero as he scored two beautiful goals. Unfortunately, Chris was shown the marching orders in the second half.

However, the Lions defended well to maintain their lead and secure a semi-final spot with a game to spare. The ability of the players to handle the pressure of playing a fired-up Lautoka side on their home ground is worth praising.
