I don’t believe in attacking my opponent or negative campaigning. I believe my record speaks for itself. As your Rhode Island state representative, I have worked for families, children, seniors, and veterans.

This includes expanding access to quality affordable childcare and stabilizing the early learning force. We helped win Medicaid investments in programs for seniors, children and individuals with disabilities. By increasing wages for frontline caregivers, we helped stabilize the healthcare workforce.

The Rhode Island car tax was fully eliminated forever as promised. The onerous tangible tax for most of Westerly small businesses was eliminated. We cut state income tax on retirement income for many seniors.

We also protected the environment and I am chairing a committee to address beach erosion. We have increased state funding for the Westerly Hospital, Westerly Public Schools, and the Westerly Library. I have championed issues as chairman of the pensions.

I introduced and passed the Blue Envelope Bill, already enforced in our neighboring states. I introduced a bill that the Rhode Island Department of Motor Vehicles had to be opened in Westerly one day a week by law. The DMV is in the process of having a mobile unit built that will service Westerly and other Rhode Island communities where it is needed.

I am proud to have served our country and to represent and work for our veterans to be sure they receive the benefits they rightly deserve. I have lived in Westerly all but.
