As the Guam Women’s Chamber of Commerce celebrates its 12th year, we reflect on a legacy of empowerment and advocacy that began on Sept. 3, 2013. Our founders answered a growing call for women’s voices and leadership in areas like job creation, workplace equality, and economic development.
This commitment to fostering opportunities for women in business has shaped our vision for Guam to be a community whose economy is driven and influenced by the equal participation of women. In 2025, GWCC continues to fulfill its mission to advance women in business through advocacy, mentorship, networking, and access to resources. From supporting professional growth to influencing policies that promote workplace equity, our efforts center on empowering women to lead, innovate, and excel.
Our objectives include enhancing professional development, advocating for competitive wages and benefits, and creating awareness about the vital role women play in Guam’s cultural and economic growth. This year, we are thrilled to offer an exciting lineup of events and initiatives designed to inspire connection and collaboration. We kick off the new year with our newest installation of Swing Series, a four-week hands-on golf training program to prep for our annual Golf Par-Tee on March 7.
We will bring together members and supporters for a day of networking and camaraderie on the green. The Fanachu Famalao’an Women’s Summit will once again serve as a dynamic space for over 400 attendees to engage .
