After the Hema Committee’s report on the Malayalam film industry came out, the call for the formation of a committee was also been raised in Kannada cinema, as well. Many have expressed their support and their opposition. Now, Kichcha Sudeep has also spoken out on the same issue.

Kiccha Sudeep recently attended the jersey launch event for the Sandalwood Cup Badminton Tournament. The event also included player selections, featuring participation from Kannada film artists, TV personalities, and media technicians. The tournament is scheduled to take place on September 28 and 29.

After the jersey launch, Kichcha Sudeep addressed the media and said that the Kannada industry is in the news for the wrong reasons. “We have come together to give a good message to those who are misinformed about our industry. We are all one here, let thousands of people talk, and we are all proud of our industry”, he said.

“Our film industry has a history of 90 years. It is an industry where many people work hard”, he added. Kichcha Sudeep responded in his way to those who say that our industry is not like any other industry and that we need a committee like the Hema Committee.

The fire committee wrote a letter to the CM saying that the Kannada industry too, needs a committee like the Hema committee. Kichcha Sudeep personally met the CM and made a request. Later, the chairperson of the women’s commission visited the film chamber, held a meeting and held a press conference.
