Legendary Aussie comedian Hamish Blake has received his Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for his service to the arts. The LEGO Masters host and his wife Zoe Foster Blake each shared photos from the momentous day. “Very honoured to today receive my OAM next to my life MVP and always BOG,” Hamish wrote. Zoe shared a similar post, reflecting on the special occasion. “Thank you for hosting us @governornsw - what a humbling ceremony, full of amazing people showing up, and bettering the world.

” In December the pair will celebrate their 12th wedding anniversary, they share two children — Sonny, 10 and Rudy, six. Blake was one of 737 Australians on this year’s Kings Birthday honours list, receiving the medal for his service to the arts as an entertainer, and to the community. “I am of course extremely honoured, and now feel very guilty I didn’t even get the King a birthday present,” Hamish said after learning of his award.
