A new academic year is about to begin, and for many students this means transitioning from secondary education to further education. However, for Cheshire College – South & West, it also means welcoming a brand-new cohort of adult students to study at the College’s Campuses at Crewe, Ellesmere Port and Chester. Cheshire’s largest further education College offers a broad range of courses for 19+ students, including Higher Education, Access to Higher Education, and part-time courses, catering to numerous interests, abilities, schedules, and career goals.
Principal and CEO Jasbir Dhesi OBE says that lifelong learning should be encouraged amongst members of the local community: “Educational development should be inclusive of all ages and abilities, which is why we champion adult education at Cheshire College. “We understand that it can be intimidating for some people to return to education, which is why we take every step to ensure that an adult student’s learning journey with us is as fun, informative, inclusive and stress-free as possible.
