The American musician, 41, shot to fame in the late 1990s for being the youngest person to ever win a Grammy Award at the age of 14. Best known for her work on the soundtrack for the 2000 hit movie Coyote Ugly, sources claim LeAnn was left embarrassed when some on The Voice had to be told who she was, reported Woman's Day on Monday.

'The younger singers wouldn't have even heard of Coyote Ugly and that was really what put her on the map,' an insider told the publication. Rimes' single from the album, Can't Fight The Moonlight, was wildly popular at the time, selling over two million copies worldwide and reaching the top of the charts in Australia, as well as becoming the country's biggest-selling single of 2001. 'Some of the contestants weren't even born when that song was released,' added the insider.
