Arvind Kejriwal claims law and order collapse in Delhi, urging Union Home Minister Amit Shah to act immediately after multiple firing incidents. NEW DELHI: AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal claimed on Sunday that law and order has collapsed in the national capital, referring to a series of firing incidents targeting commercial establishments. In a post on X, the former chief minister emphasized that maintaining safety in Delhi falls under the jurisdiction of Union home minister Amit Shah , urging him to take immediate action.

"Law and order in Delhi has collapsed. There is a complete Jungle Raj . People are scared in the national capital of the country.

Delhi's law and order comes under Amit Shah. He will have to take effective steps immediately," Kejriwal stated in Hindi. Recent days have seen multiple firing incidents, including attacks on a second-hand luxury car showroom, a hotel, and a sweet shop, with police suspecting these may be linked to extortion attempts by criminal gangs .

During a Delhi assembly session on Friday, AAP MLAs raised concerns over law and order, reporting that traders and business owners have been inundated with extortion calls from various gangs. They criticized the Delhi police for their perceived inaction, claiming public trust in law enforcement has eroded, prompting individuals to handle disputes directly with gangs..
