OMAHA — For thousands of people, a visit to Lauritzen Gardens has become a holiday tradition. Its holiday show “Merry & Bright: Holiday Express,” which is now open, offers different experiences during the day and during its ticketed Bright Nights events. “A public garden is more than a place of beauty — it’s a living invitation for people of all ages to explore and find joy in nature’s wonders,” said Ennis Anderson, chief executive officer.

“As a holiday destination in Omaha, we take pride in being a place where guests can share the spirit of the season, make memories together and connect to nature.” The garden’s largest indoor tree, a 20-foot-tall poinsettia tree made of 720 poinsettia plants, is the main attraction in the floral display hall. Surrounded by thousands of vibrant poinsettias and nostalgic displays of model garden trains, visitors can enjoy the sights and sounds of the locomotives as they chug through a landscape.
