Sports broadcaster Laura Woods has admitted she kept her pregnancy a secret from her ITV colleagues during Euro 2024. Woods joined the likes of Mark Pougatch, Ange Postecoglou, Roy Keane , Ian Wright and Gary Neville on broadcast duties for this summer's tournament in Berlin. However, unbeknownst to her fellow presenters, the 37-year-old was pregnant with her first child.

The star, who anchored ITV’s coverage of the 2023 Women’s World Cup, described Euro 2024 as a "nightmare" before finally being able to announce her pregnancy on Instagram after the tournament had finished. She told The Times: "It was constant, the morning sickness was quite difficult to battle and I was exhausted all the time. "It didn't matter how much sleep you actually got, you'd still be knackered.
