Production has officially begun on the second season of Palm Royale ! After debuting earlier this year, the Emmy nominated Apple TV+ series was renewed for a second season in June. On Wednesday (October 23), the first set photos emerged online as Laura Dern filmed some playful scenes on the beach with her new costar Jaycob Maya in San Pedro, Calif. Her hair was down and adorned with a white flower crown, adding a sense of whimsy to the outfit. Meanwhile, Jaycob went shirtless, wearing a pair of extra-short swim trunks with his hair in loose waves. We don’t know what role Jaycob will play in the series just yet.
However, he was seen running along the beach with Laura and even spinning her in a seemingly flirty moment. He is the first new star to officially join the cast.
