Lamborghini has introduced the new Urus SE in India and the starting price of the luxury SUV is whopping Rs 4.57 crore (ex-showroom). The Lamborghini Urus SE is offered in a plug-in hybrid type and the SE variant replaces the Performante and S variants (offered previously).
Certain elements of the SUV are new on the SUV. The Lamborghini Urus SE is powered by a 4.0-litre, twin-turbocharged V8 engine.
The engine produces 620hp of peak power and 800Nm of maximum torque. Apart from that the engine is coupled with a plug-in hybrid system that uses a 25.9kWh lithium-ion battery pack.
The electric motor offers an 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. The total output of the Urus SE is 800hp and 950Nm. If you are wondering about the electric-only range, it is just 60km.
However, users get to access the four-wheel drive in the electric mode too. The SUV can go from 0-100kmph in just 3.4 seconds and can achieve top speed of 312kmph.
The Lamborghini Urus SE gets multiple modes meant for road and track use as well as off-road use. Other than that the SUV gets four additional modes- EV Drive, Hybrid, recharge as well as Performance. In the recharge mode up to 80 percent of the battery can be recharged and that too while maintaining optimal performance.
