Officers part of Operation Whiskey Pitt — aimed at busting organised criminals in the Moreton area — stormed more than a dozen properties across North Brisbane in July. During the raids, police allege they found quantities of cocaine, MDMA, mushrooms, steroids, a little over 55 kilograms of cannabis, 11 cannabis plants and two hydroponic set-ups.

Following the searches, a total of 20 people were charged. A little over 55 kilograms of cannabis, 11 cannabis plants and two hydroponic set-ups were allegedly found. (Queensland Police) Three of those — a 23-year-old man from Narangba, a 40-year-old woman from Kallangur and a 42-year-old man from Morayfield — were charged with trafficking dangerous drugs as well as a slew of other offences.
