The Aventador's successor Lamborghini has ended its era of purely fossil-fueled supercars and is marking its entry into the world of electrified vehicles. It begins with their first-ever V12 plug-in hybrid supercar, and latest flagship model, the Revuelto. Francesco Scardaoni, Director of Automobili Lamborghini Asia-Pacific, highlighted the importance of this milestone, saying, “Revuelto represents a significant milestone in the history of Lamborghini and an important pillar in our Direzione Cor Tauri electrification strategy.
This iconic V12 PHEV delivers performance with its exceptional dynamism of electric torque vectoring and permanent four-wheel drive, ensuring the Revuelto expresses its amplified qualities both on track and in daily driving.” Hybrid power The Revuelto is a showcase of Lamborghini’s signature innovation and is classified as a High-Performance Electric Vehicle. It features a newly developed 6.
5-liter V12 engine paired with three electric motors, producing a combined power output of 1,029-Ps. For the first time in a 12-cylinder Lamborghini, there’s a double-clutch, eight-speed transmission, enhancing both speed and handling. Its hybrid powertrain includes two electric motors at the front and a third one at the rear, providing torque vectoring and even enabling an all-electric driving mode.
The lithium-ion battery, tucked into the central tunnel, powers the electric motors and recharges in just 30 minutes when connected to an external fast-charging .
